Let's do more good in the world

At The Lawn Care CEO, our purpose goes beyond helping lawn care businesses thrive—we’re committed to doing good in the world. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, countless families have been left struggling to rebuild their lives. We believe it’s our responsibility to step up and make a difference, and we invite you to join us in this mission.

By contributing to the relief efforts, you can help bring hope, shelter, and essential resources to those affected. Together, we can provide the support these families need to rebuild, recover, and move forward. Let’s work together to create a brighter, more compassionate future for everyone.

Hurricane Helene devastated the town of Canton, NC, last Thursday and Friday. This town is very special to my family. Six generations of my family have lived in Canton and are still vital to this great community.

Canton, a town of 4400 people located 17 miles west of Asheville, NC, has been facing a series of challenges. Since 2004, it has endured three major floods, with the most recent one in 2021. The town was in the process of rebuilding when Hurricane Helene struck. To add to the adversity, the town's largest employer, the Paper Mill, closed its doors in 2023 after 115 years of operation, leaving over 1000 people without jobs. The people of Canton have been resilient in the face of these hardships over the past two decades.

I want to help, and I am asking for your support. My church, Tuckaseege Baptist Church in Mount Holly, NC, has partnered with Pinnacle Church in Canton, NC, to help raise money that will go directly to the victims of this town. We will support the people of Canton by helping with shelter, transportation, food, and utilities. Many of these folks have lost their homes and all belongings, and many will not have jobs to return to for many months or even ever. These folks will be tasked with finding new places to live. We want to ensure that this money goes to help displaced people get back on their feet.
